Accessibility statement

Rucksteady should work for everyone. We build the app and this website to the success criteria of WCAG 2.2, level AA.
What we test
- Contrast. Every color comes from fixed design tokens. Each text and background pair meets at least 4.5:1 in light and dark mode, 3:1 for large text.
- Text size. Body text grows with the system text size (Dynamic Type) up to 200 %.
- VoiceOver. Controls carry a role and a label, so a screen reader reads them out.
- Reduced motion. With "Reduce Motion" on, the app drops its animations.
- Night vision. A red color scheme protects your dark-adapted eyes on night rucks.
Known limits
- The large display numbers on the ruck screen do not grow with the system text size. They already fill the screen width and would be cut off otherwise.
- Large headlines grow to 1.5 times their size at most.
Contact
If you hit a barrier, write to hello@autopunk.io. Please name your device, the system version and the screen where it happens.
Legal framework
Rucksteady is offered by one person, a microenterprise with fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover of at most 2 million euros. The European Accessibility Act does not apply to services of such enterprises (Directive (EU) 2019/882, Art. 4(5); § 3(3) BFSG). We still keep to the standards above as far as we can.
